Terrafirma Offshore vessels are equipped to carry out offshore oceanographic, hydrographic, and geophysical surveys. We have installed moonpools and purpose-built workstations in our vessels for this specific purpose. Optimus1000 is also operating state-of-the-art maneuverability equipment with twin IPS drives that are integrated with GPS Station holding capabilities.
Environmental investigations have included support of intertidal, shallow and deep water studies, from the initial work required for the client’s Environmental Impact Study to the extended baseline. Our long history of providing environmental support has ensured our personnel have a deep understanding of the environmental issues associated with the industry, including pollution prevention, waste handling, conservation, marine fauna observation, marine pests and quarantine.
Terrafirma Offshore offers personnel and equipment transfer services to the offshore industry, including vessel-to-vessel and vessel-to-platform crew change, sea freight transfer, emergency evacuation, ‘hotshot’ transfer, and chase boat duties. Optimus1000 is built to AMSA pilot vessel requirements and is a fast transfer vessel with a maximum speed of 32kts and capable of carrying 16 people.
Terrafirma Offshore range of diver project experience includes support of in-water vessel hull inspections, environmental studies, salvage operations, emergency repair and de-fouling works. Kuri Pearl is capable operating full dive spreads, including decompression chamber with a deck load of 30t.
Terrafirma Offshore has developed extensive facilities in our Exmouth base. This includes a large yard with a warehouse, workshop, offices, and client accommodation. Our Marine Operations Office looks after all logistics, including receivables, a consignment of freight, quarantine assessment, lay down areas, re-provisioning, client pick-up, and transport. Our dedicated team works together to ensure that all operations conform to the highest of safety measures.
Terrafirma Offshore provides support to other marine operators in Exmouth. This includes completing general vessel maintenance, audit (OVID, IMCA, OVMSA), and surveys (Class, AMSA) preparation and assistance, out of water maintenance works including airless antifoul application. Terrafirma Offshore has over fifty clients utilizing this service.
Terrafirma Offshore has in place a comprehensive management system to ensure that all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards are met, and where possible exceeded. This system is currently being prepared for (ENV) ISO 14001:2015, AS/NZS 4801:2001 & OHSAS 18001:2007, (Q) ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Terrafirma Offshore is operated by experienced offshore personnel with the appropriate qualifications and competency. All crew have STCW95, senior First Aid, AMSA medicals, Sea Survival and Dogging & Rigging Certificates of Competency.
The company’s extensive safety management system has ensured a zero incident record since the establishment of Terrafirma Offshore in 2013.
